By accessing or using the FindMe website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
FindMe provides a QR-code based lost-and-found system. We offer a platform for users to generate QR codes for their items and for finders to contact owners. We are an intermediary platform and do not physically handle, store, or recover lost items.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact information provided in your QR codes.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
- You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- You agree not to use the chat functionality to harass, abuse, or send spam to other users.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall FindMe, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any content obtained from the Service; and
- Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Crucially: FindMe does not guarantee the recovery of any lost item. We facilitate communication only.
5. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
